It breaks my heart to say it, but you are so right.  We are already doomed.  You did leave out the one alternative that has worked throughout history and it is time that We the People started discussing it openly:  Revolution. 

"That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

These people in power will not relinquish it willingly.  They are banking on the dumbing down of America and time, to win this fight for them.  They have no concern for our future, Republican or Democrat, only for the next election.

We need to forcibly take back this country and change the way this government is run. 

1. Capitol Hill should be bulldozed.  Congress should be served by people sacrificing to perform a necessary evil, similar to jury duty.  The pay should be $10,000 per year with no benefits.  All sessions should be conducted via video conference with each member remaining in his/her home state and casting their votes via the web.  Of course there would be no need for term limits without the power brokers bribes and the lure of D.C. cocktail parties. 

2. The IRS must also go along with any direct tax on wages. 

3. The judicial system must be revamped and judges impeached regularly who do not honor their oath of office.  Everyone from GW down that has taken an oath of office to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and has voted for/signed/ruled on McCain-Feingold should be impeached immediately and expelled from the country for committing treason.  If they wish to remain or attempt to return they should be shot.

Sound a little harsh? 

Maybe. 

But what is the alternative?  Hoping to die before the end comes?  Before Liberty and our Republic our lost forever? 

We are selling our children into slavery.  The two major parties have us in a death grip.  The ignorant masses act like there is such a huge difference between Bush and (insert your liberal Senator of choice here), between the two parties when there is virtually none, that I would laugh if it weren't so pathetic.

Give me back Slick Willy; at least he had the guts to veto a bad Bill once in a while.

We can't afford to sit idly by and wait for much longer.  One day we will wake up and find the chains that once bound our government, fastened tightly on our limbs.  The truth is, this has already happened and we just haven't woken yet.  Like Neo in the Matrix, we need to take the Red Pill, grab a weapon, and get in the game.
